Residents are rightly shocked and angered after the news that Lloyds Banking Group have decided to close their branch in Pontarddulais. After learning about this, Byron made contact with Lloyds Bank to set up an emergency meeting to discuss ways by which the branch can remain open and banking services continue as normal.

Families in Wales are being forced to dip into their own savings if they suffer cancer simply to prolong their own lives. The system creates a postcode lottery, with patients in England being allowed access to the same drugs that are unavailable in Wales.
