Keep Lloyds Bank in Bont

Residents are rightly shocked and angered after the news that Lloyds Banking Group have decided to close their branch in Pontarddulais. After learning about this, Byron made contact with Lloyds Bank to set up an emergency meeting to discuss ways by which the branch can remain open and banking services continue as normal.

Byron recognises the importance of retaining Lloyds in Pontarddulais, especially to elderly residents and local traders. The village has already lost Barclays and HSBC in recent years and if Lloyds were also to leave there would be no permanent banking services in Ponarddulais.

Please find below Byron's petition to save Lloyds Bank, which will help to strengthen the argument that it is an essential service for local people.
