Golf star Rory McIlroy has been married for four years to his wife Erica Table, tying himself up at a lavish ceremony at Ashford Castle, Mayo.
But who is Erica Table and how did they meet?
Erica is originally from New York, but as a teenager with her family moved to Palm Beach, Florida.
She previously worked as a PGA of America employee, taking on the role of volunteer operations manager for the 2011 championship.
Although the couple is very private in their personal lives, Rory and Erica first crossed paths in 2012 when Erica worked at PGA in America and he was on tour.
The story goes that the man Co Down was asleep and about to be late for a T-shirt.
However, Erica noticed that he did not go on the course, and woke him up, then he received timely police escort on the course.
Rory and Erica were friends for a while before the affair blossomed.
Rory told Cool FM Radio: “We were friends for a couple of years and we knew each other from the golf course, and in the summer of 2014, in late summer, we started spending more time together and it all went from there.”

The couple got engaged in Paris in 2015, and they were married on April 22, 2017 at Ashford Castle in Kong, Mayo.
The wedding was a very personal affair, with no photos coming to light of the couple’s big day.
In August 2020, the couple celebrated the birth of their daughter Poppy Kennedy McIlroy.
Sharing a photo of little Poppy’s little hand squeezing her finger, Rory wrote, “Poppy Kennedy McIlroy, was born Aug. 31, 12:15 p.m.
“She is the absolute love of our lives. Mother and child work great. Many thanks to all the staff of Jupiter Medical Center and Dr. Sasha Melendi for their wonderful help.”
The three of them were pictured on a golf course in May 2021 after Rory won the Wales-Fargo Championship in North Carolina.
